Mr Walkley was also pleased with the new athletics facilities at Maitland, and hopes to see more similar amenities pursued across the region. “I was really impressed with it, it is easy to get to from the Bay, less than hrs drive. “There is plenty of parking, nice amenities, they have done a really good job on the layout of it. “All of the equipment is new and was included in the overall cost of the centre. “We can only hope that more facilities like this are built in the Hunter area.” By Doug CONNOR
