The A Grade cup saw the Grasshoppers as victors in a tightly contested game,. Medowie Motors took out the B Grade Plate final, with C Grade coming out on top to win the C Grade final. Mixed Grade winners were the Marauder Mob, who were pleased with their finals success. The award for the most valuable player of the series went to Trai Brekelmans. On a very special note, an inaugural award was presented during the awards ceremony. Named the ‘Corey Petherbridge Encouragement Award’, this plaque was presented in memory of Corey, a much loved and respected young man who lost his life in a local accident during 2016. The winner of this special award was Logan Farley. Sponsored by local real estate agents Century 21, all winners received a trophy, and a gift from the girls at Medowie Century 21 to celebrate the end of the season. All teams celebrated a successful season after the awards ceremony with a sausage sizzle.
