● ON 10/3/22 Police arrested a 30-year-old Macksville woman at a Fishermans Reach address following a stabbing incident.

A 37-year-old man sustained serious wounds to his lower back and was conveyed to Coffs Harbour Hospital for treatment.

The accused woman was charged at Kempsey Police Station where she was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court on 11/3/22 for the offences of reckless wounding, malicious damage and possessing a prohibited drug.

1. On 8/3/22 Police discharged a taser upon a 27-year-old man at a Macksville address after emergency services were alerted to a man behaving erratically.

The man became violent towards Police who were eventually able to detain the man before he was sedated by attending Ambulance Officers who then conveyed him to Coffs Harbour Hospital for assessment.

2. On 9/3/22 Police arrested a 35-year-old man at a Nambucca Heads address following a domestic dispute involving a 31-year-old woman.

The accused man was charged at Kempsey Police Station for breaching an AVO and Common Assault.

The accused man was refused bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court later the same date where he was sentenced to an eighteen month Community Corrections Order.
