● ON 2/9/22 Police arrested a 37-year-old man at a Thumb Creek address following investigations related to the breach of an AVO.

The accused man was charged at Macksville Police Station and refused bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on 3/9/22.

The matter was subsequently adjourned to 5/9/22 where the accused was sentenced to a Term of Imprisonment for one month.

● On 4/9/22 Police arrested a 34-year-old woman at Macksville Police Station following investigations related to an alleged assault of a woman in Nambucca Heads on 20/8/22. The accused woman was charged with several offences and later released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on 22/9/22.

● During the late evening of 4/9/22 Police arrested a 30-year-old woman at a Taylors Arm address following a domestic violence dispute in which two male relatives were alleged to have been assaulted.

The accused woman was charged at Macksville Police Station on 5/9/22 and later released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on 15/9/22.

● On 5/9/22 Police were alerted to a violent domestic incident at a Nambucca Heads address where a male relative and a pregnant woman were both assaulted by a 24-year- old man.

The accused was arrested at the scene and an Ambulance was called to tend to the victims’ injuries.

The accused man was charged at Macksville Police Station including breach of bail and is currently refused bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on 18/10/22.

● On 5/9/22 Police arrested a 39-year-old man at Macksville Police Station following investigations related to the alleged assault upon a child at a Valla Beach address in August.

The accused man was charged with common assault and later released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on 22/9/22.

● On 7/9/22 Police arrested a 26-year-old man at a Bowraville address following investigations related to a Break and Enter at Tewinga earlier the same morning.

The accused man was charged at Macksville Police Station with possessing a prohibited drug and 2 x Goods in custody and was later released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on 22/9/22.
