A FEMALE will appear in court in relation to possessing a prohibited drug after being found with cannabis.

Bulahdelah Police report they had cause to stop and search a motor vehicle on the Pacific Highway south of Bulahdelah at 3.30pm on 30 June.

An amount of cannabis wrapped in cling wrap was located on the floor behind the driver’s seat.

As a result, the 33-year-old female passenger was issued with a field court attendance notice in relation to the offence.
