AFTER an extraordinarily busy and devastating start to the Fire season Pindimar Tea Gardens Rural Fire Brigade held their monthly meeting at Pindimar Rural Fire Brigade Station on Tuesday 3 December.

Prior to the meeting the Reverend Peter Adkins and Mrs. Gwen Peterson from the Anglican Church attended and presented to the Brigade a cheque for $2000.00 from monies raised.
This was received and greatly appreciated by all members and Captain David Bright who in turn presented a Certificate of Appreciation.
David said,” This money will provide the Pindimar Tea Gardens Rural Fire Brigade with funds to buy an electric, live hose reel winder to be located on the Cat 1 Tanker.”
Whilst the smoke and haze may be diminishing from many local areas it is still vivid to those directly affected by these devastating fires.
Without rain Fire fighters will be called to many more twelve hour shifts, on locations around the State and Country, for many months to come.
