Pigs head thrown into a mosque at Wallsend Regional News by NOTA - November 19, 2014 Police from the Newcastle Local Area Command were called to a mosque in Wallsend after receiving a report today (Wednesday 19 November 2014) that a pig’s head was thrown into the mosque’s courtyard. A police investigation has commenced and authorities are encouraging anyone with information on the incident to come forward. “The New South Wales Police Force takes all incidents seriously and this matter will be fully investigated with all motivations considered including any bias motivation. Only at the conclusion of the investigation can any comment be made about the motivation for the incident,” Superintendent John Gralton, commander of the Newcastle Local Area said. “This type of incident does not belong anywhere in Newcastle or in New South Wales. The command will use all resources to bring those responsible to justice,” Superintendent Gralton said.
