Many hours were spent creating ponds, gardens, paths, and arbours for their special day. On Saturday 1 December, surrounded by 90 very special friends and family, Paul and Jodie finally shared their moment and became husband and wife. Jodie said, “We endured bush fires in surrounding suburbs, hurricane like winds, torrential rain all in the lead up to our day.” “We celebrated well into the night, and our day was spectacular we couldn’t have asked for more.” But the magic does not stop there. Jodie told News of the Area, “We’d been together so long there wasn’t anything we needed.” The son of their wedding planner attends school with their eight year old daughter Shania. This strong young boy has already in his short life already fought and won a battle with leukemia. After much thought and conversation, Paul and Jodie decided to have a Wishing Well at their wedding to raise money for the Starlight Foundation. By Kelly MAY
