Opinion Property/Sports/Opinion - popup ad by News Of The Area - Modern Media - September 14, 2023 DEAR News Of The Area, CITY of Coffs Harbour Council are seeking information relating to the management of our estuaries along the coast. Maybe as a start Council could demonstrate their commitment to the cleaning up of our estuaries by removing the trees currently blocking the southern shoreline of Coffs Creek. These trees were undermined by flood/tide action some time ago and despite a token effort by Council some time ago removing some tree sections, these trees remain a danger to all who use the creek for recreation, with some broken branches embedded in the creek bed both upstream and downstream of the rail bridge.
