I DARESAY the cost of the rebrand will not amount to much in terms of the council’s total budget, but seems like a stratospheric waste of money nonetheless.

There are roads, footpaths, pedestrian crossings (there’s somehting Coffs could do with more of), homelessness – the list goes on.

It doesn’t matter if the cost does not come out of the roads or any other particular budget, it’s still ratepayers money being spent.

I can’t see the point of dropping the word council when that is exactly what you are, nor can I see the point of focusing on something so trivial when there are so many problems and financial headwinds to be dealt with.
