One man arrested, another hospitalised following a stabbing at Parramatta National News by NOTA - November 13, 2014 A man has been arrested following a stabbing at Parramatta this morning. About 9:50am, Thursday 13 November 2014, police and paramedics were called to Church Street following reports a man had been stabbed outside a supermarket. NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated a 36-year-old man at the scene and he has been taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment for a stab wound to his hand. A 56-year-old man was arrested at the scene by police and taken to Parramatta Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries. A crime scene has been established in Church Street and will be examined by forensic officers. Detectives from Parramatta are continuing investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police.
