THE NSW Seniors Festival is back and celebrating the new direction that our seniors can take in their retirement. From tech workshops to scrabble sessions, there are loads of events happening across the MidCoast for this year’s NSW Seniors Festival. NSW Seniors Festival runs from 25 March to 3 April for people over 60. This year’s theme is ‘Reconnect’. Events are either free or subsidised and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Tech Savvy Seniors will return to Gloucester and Hallidays Point libraries, with sessions on android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads and social media. Bookings are essential – phone 6592 5290. The festival is educational and interactive with everything from macrame workshops to learning about how to stay alert about the latest scams with online safety sessions.
