Barbara also thanked in particular Ann Scully from the News Of The Area. U3A stands for University of the Third Age. U3A is a university in the original sense of the word: a community of people devoted to learning. Myall U3A is 26 years young and currently has 257 members. Notable elected representatives on the day include President Norman Hawkes, Vice President Roger Digby, Secretary Sonja Ridden and Treasurer Liz Swane. Myall U3A meet every Friday involving both guest speakers and member participation in presentations representing both current events as well as a wide range of topics.
