NEW finalists for the 2021 MidCoast Business awards have been announced.

Following a recount within the evaluation system, four additional businesses in the MidCoast have been added, bringing the list of category finalists to 31 businesses.

Supported by the MidCoast Business Chamber and covering the Business Chambers of Taree, Forster Tuncurry, Wingham, Harrington, Gloucester, Old Bar, Myall Lakes and Bulahdelah, the awards provide an opportunity to recognise and reward amazing businesses whose passion, determination and innovation inspire other local businesses and local businesspeople.

Denise Haynes, business owner of R&R Property, said the awards provide an opportunity to refine and progress as a business in the MidCoast region.

“As a business owner, who is always intent upon improving and growing our business, I don’t always stop and consider just how far we have progressed.

“As multi award winners, these awards have provided a powerful marketing opportunity while creating shared excitement about our business,” Ms Hayes said.

All the businesses are in the running to win one of thirteen awards.

The new Category Finalists for the awards are Sea Horse Diamond Beach, Sunrise Home Care, Waste King and Tea Gardens BBQ Boats.

The awards will be presented at the Gala Awards Dinner on 12 February.
