The Crown has been brought out of the vault and polished for a royal visitor. Nelson Bay VIEW Club is hosting a Royal Baby Shower and Concert to celebrate the impending birth of the Royal baby. Lorraine Nicol told News Of The Area, “The ‘Queen’ plus other members of the Royal family will be in attendance, including, of course, ‘Meghan’.” An invitation is extended to all, to join VIEW members for an afternoon of fun, frivolity and fine food at the Nelson Bay Community Hall, Norburn Ave, Nelson Bay on Saturday 27 April from 2pm to 4pm. Enjoy a glass of “Champagne” on arrival followed by a sumptuous high tea while you enjoy the entertainment by seasoned performers. VIEW stands for: voice interests, and education for women. Along with the serious side of assisting youth in Australia the VIEW Club members enjoy many fun outings and events and their royal celebrations have been something that many locals look forward to. Funds raised will help Nelson Bay VIEW Club provide educational support for the ten disadvantaged students they sponsor through The Smith Family’s “Learning for Life” program.
