Talk to any seasoned Golfer and they will often refer to the fact that ‘breaking 90’ is still on their bucket list. Consider then, 11 year old Junior, Amy Squires, who scored 89 in Sunday’s Stableford competition. A remarkable feat for one so young, holding her concentration over the period of an 18 hole competition. Her 43 points, which included 7 pars and 1 wipe, put her in the Ladies’ Overall Winner’s spot by 10 points. Congratulations Amy. From the Membership of the Club, best wishes in your next major event, playing in a State-sponsored school’s competition. Go Amy.

Highlights of the week:

-James Marshall landed an Eagle on the Par 5, 438 metre, 27th hole in Wednesday’s Mens Competition.

-Saturday’s Monthly Medal round, congratulations to both Will Semens, taking out the Scratch Winner position with a score of 76 and to Elio Mislov who took out the Net Winner position with a score of 65 and with it, holds the Monthly Mug presented by S. S. & L. M. Johnston Earthmoving.
