Kevin Farrell from The Tomaree Bridge Club will be enabling your dream to be fulfilled, with a 12 week Bridge for Beginners course to help you learn the game of Bridge.

Bridge is played worldwide and enjoyed by people from all walks of life.

It is a game that provides mental stimulation and a wonderful social outlet.

Kevin Farrell told News Of The Area, “The Tomaree Bridge Club was formed by the amalgamation of the Nelson Bay and Port Stephens Bridge Clubs at the commencement of 2016.

“We have 170 members who have fun enjoying Bridge and socialising during the sessions on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, Friday mornings and some Friday evenings,” he said.

The 12 weeks of Bridge classes start on 29 January from 9.30am-11.30am.

The lessons are being offered by Tomaree Bridge Club for $50.

After the 12 lessons have been completed the Tomaree Club will run supported play sessions where new players can play in a relaxed atmosphere.

Senior club players supervise these sessions and can answer any questions on bidding or play.

The Clubs regular playing sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons.
