
PLAYERS from around Australia will be coming to Hawks Nest next week to compete in event as part of the Australian Golf Croquet Championships.

This year the Hunter region is hosting games at Bateau Bay, Branxton, Maitland, Myall Park, Newcastle and Toronto.
A total of 92 players are competing in the Championships with eight men coming to Myall Park for a single’s event.
“This is an opportunity to see some very talented competitors, playing this great game,” Sue Dodds said.
“It’s a once in a lifetime chance, with spectators welcome, even for a short time,” Sue said.
The competition kicks off at 8.30am at the Yamba Street Croquet home in Hawks Nest on Monday 10 September.
