IT is now just three weeks until the Local Government Elections for Nambucca Valley Council on Saturday December 4.

Accordingly, the Nambucca Valley Branch of NSW Farmers in conjunction with The Macksville and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry cordially invite all Candidates, residents and ratepayers to a Meet the Candidates event on Thursday, 18 November 2021 from 6.30 pm at Nambucca River District Agriculture Association Showground, Rodeo Drive, Macksville.

The time for candidacy nominations has now passed, and the list of candidates for Mayor and Councillor positions is now finalised.

Labor candidate Susan Jenvey will run against Independent Rhonda Hoban for the position of Mayor.

13 locals have put their hands up for the position of Nambucca Valley Councillor: Rhona Hoban (Independent), James Angel, Troy Vance (Independent), Barry Clow (Independent), John Wilson (Independent), David Jones (Independent), Trevor Ballangarry (Independent), Susan Jenvey (Labor), Peter Sobey (Independent), David Hall (Independent), Michael Scafidi (Independent), Ricky Buchanan (Independent) and Martin Ballangarry (Independent).
