DUE to pre polling at the Nambucca RSL club, last Thursday’s Nambucca River Bridge Club session was held at the home of John and Gillian Buganey.

Some of the hands were tricky to bid and play, but most of our members managed well.

The winners on the day were Amber and Stephen Fox with a great percentage of 69 percent, with a big gap back to second by Cynthia Gill and Gillian Buganey with 54 percent.

Unfortunately, due to the wet conditions that we are all experiencing, one of our members didn’t wait for the valet parking and decided to park her car in a very wet patch.

At the conclusion of the sessions and after some refreshments, our members rose to the challenge and were able to muscle the car onto harder ground.

Get into bridge – great for the mind

All our sessions are played in an honest, respectful and friendly manner, so laughter and conversation is common around the room during play.
