From humble beginnings and a handful of local producers, the Nabiac market was born.

Run by a small group of community volunteers Nabiac Farmers Market proceeds are given back to the community by way of funding local projects.

Julie Arnoux told Myall Coast News, “Now we are in excess of 50 stallholders boasting excellent fresh local produce and innovative artisans.”

“The market has a definite ‘country’ vibe to it and the locals and travelers who frequent our market spend all morning shopping, tasting our culinary delights, sipping on an organic coffee to the cool tunes of our buskers and leave enchanted.”

Amongst the stall holders you will find organic coffee, cheese, honey, goats milk, beauty products, fresh cut flowers and day lilies, sourdough bread, fresh local garlic, nuts, gingerbread, confectionery, chooks, regional wines, freshly laid free-range eggs, seedlings, olives, fermented products, beef products direct from the producer, Gluten-free sugar free raw cakes and an abundance of freshly picked fruit and vegetables and much, much more.

Ms Arnoux said, “Each month a stallholder gives a demonstration and talk on his/her product and customers have given very positive feedback from this initiative.”

“We have recently staged our inaugural ReVive 2015 Farmers Market in January which will be an annual event not to be missed in the region. It was an extremely successful day, “ she said.

The Nabiac Farmers Market is held every last Saturday of the month at Nabiac Showground, Nabiac Street, Nabiac.
