Enrolment has increased despite Covid requirements and people are now looking forward to delving into their various interests with likeminded people who share a passion for acquiring new skills, or simply luxuriating in the joy of learning. George Nadal, who instructs the French classes, has reported that he now must divide Beginners French into two classes because of increasing numbers. He is up to the task and has organised Intermediate and Advanced French at other times. Linda Leggott, Myall U3A President and Garden Club Convener, said that her group is planning to do a seed collecting project and research that will include visits to specialised nurseries.
