Barbara Lyle, the Myall U3A Musical Director has chosen a colourful repertoire for this year’s performance.

“The concert will include a variety of musical genres, from songs of reflection to popular musicals,” she said.

The concert is a celebration of community singing; playful folk songs, haunting laments, a touch of Opera, your favourite Christmas Carols, plus a few surprises.

Margaret Rowden will be accompanying the choir as usual.

Lyn Chaikin from U3A said, “Please come along for a wonderful night of singing and community. Supper will be served after the performance.”

“If there are people who are interested in joining the choir, come along and listen and join the choir in 2020.”

“We meet for practice each Wednesday afternoon at 2pm during term time,” Ms Chaikin said.

The choir also sings at the ANZAC and Remembrance Day services and occasionally for the Dolphins Friday group.

If you wish to experience the joy of singing in harmony and learning basic vocal technique you are welcome to join.
