The exhibition will be a showcase for new and experienced artists.

Lyn Blake who leads the Art Group emphasises that the exhibition is all about showcasing the work of the artists and demonstrating the various skills which they have accumulated during the year.

The Art Show is an opportunity for the artists to learn how to exhibit and to see their work against the work of more experienced artists.

Ms Blake said, “Painting for Pleasure is what we are all about.”

“There is a range of ability at the Art Group. Some people come for therapy and find that in the meantime, they are really doing some very good paintings. We are an eclectic group and that is what makes the classes so interesting.”

Entry will be free and there will be the usual raffle. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale at the entrance to the hall.

Tea and coffee (fifty cents) will also be served. The exhibition will provide an ideal opportunity to ask about the art classes and to perhaps think about joining the art group in 2020.

The 2019 Art Exhibition is a must see show and the Myall U3A Art Group look forward to seeing you at the Hawks Nest Community Hall on Saturday 5th to Monday 7th October.
