Helen Germeren proudly displaying a painting completed at the U3A Art Day “I attended the U3A Art Open Day on 10th November and thought you may be able to use the information and photographs for the readers of the Myall Coast Nota. The U3A Art group held their very successful open day at the Hawks Nest Community Hall. All examples of the groups art was on display, such as watercolours, acrylics, collages, portraits and wildlife. Sheril Johnson showing off her very creative collage of a cat. Ross Jones Carol Davies and Pat Foyle. Vivienne Boyd and Heather Miller. Helen Germeren proudly displaying a painting completed at the U3A Art Day. Much to the pleasure of the artists, every Monday, each member of the group conducts a class in their area of speciality to encompass all styles of art available to all members. A committee runs the group each week at the Community Hall in Hawks Nest, starting at 9am and concludes at 1pm. I was quite impressed. Luke Boyd, Hawks Nest
