THE Myall River Festival will take place at the end of this month, Saturday 25th October, as a huge one day event.

Myall Coast Chamber of Commerce and Tourism President Graham Halley said, “Set aside the whole day and evening. Invite family and friends to join us for the Myall’s favourite event on the Tea Gardens Riverfront.”

Event organisers are focusing all efforts into the day to ensure that it is a full all-day program of entertainment and activities, both on and off the water.

Scheduled, is an array of wonderful music and stage performances, street performers and fun roving characters.

On the water will be water craft demonstrations, sailpast, water illuminations and lantern parade.

The Great Duck Race is set to fill the river again, plus on the river front will be market stalls and community information stalls.

A hit with the kids are the amusement rides, free Kidz Play Zone and the fire performance artists.

The finale includes a spectacular fireworks display at 8:30pm.
