THE 2023 North Coast Tourism Awards have seen the Myall River Camp at Hawks Nest win gold for Excellence in Camping, Glamping and Caravanning.

The off-grid camp was recognised for ‘Excellence in Glamping’ for its custom-made Safari Tents on the Myall River, recycled, rustic tiny homes and off-grid campground by the river.

Myall River Camp management proudly received the Gold Award at the Destination North Coast and Business NSW Gala event held in the Tweed.

Managers Maree and Mac told News Of The Area, “We are over the moon!

“It was a great honour to achieve this award and to showcase our local area.

“Our Glamping Tents and Tiny Homes allow guests to immerse themselves in nature whilst also indulging in home comforts, like hot showers and beautiful beds, the camping is all off grid also with guests sitting around the fire of a night enjoying nature to the fullest.

“Being off-grid, it’s really important to us that when people holiday with us they can give the planet a break too,” they said.
