Four males were evicted from a Myall Lakes National Park after a violent fight broke out between them.

Police said at about 5am on Saturday, January 25 they were called to the Boomeri Campground in relation to a serious and violent fight.

Police on scene said four males were camping for the weekend when a Chinese national and a French national from within the group became involved in the violent incident over a female they had met during the night.

The four males were evicted from the National Park and issued a number of infringement notices for breaches of the National park Act.
