Myall Coast Rotary announce some very happy winners Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest by NOTA - January 7, 2015 The Rotary Club of Myall Coast drew their annual Christmas raffle and some very happy winners emerged. Two of the three prizes went to locals with the third going to a winner from Cessnock. First prize of $2,000 cash went to local resident Kerrie Mead. The second prize of a $500 weekend for two at the Tea Gardens Boathouse was won by Louise Meyn of Cessnock. Col Nichols won third prize, being a large Christmas hamper. Rotary Club President Geoff Latona wished to thank everyone for their generous support of this popular annual raffle. “As usual, the net proceeds will be distributed amongst local organisations that rely on the generosity of our local community,” said Mr Latona. Separately, the Rotary Club’s New Year Giant Book Sale is being held at the Hawks Nest Community Hall today and tomorrow. Support the local Rotary Club by popping into the Hawks Nest Community Hall.
