MYALL Coast Mudcrabs met the Old Bar Clams at Myall Park Sport by News Of The Area - Modern Media - July 23, 2016 MYALL Coast Mudcrabs met the Old Bar Clams at Myall Park, Hawks Nest in Round 12 of the Lower Mid North Coast Competition last Saturday in front of a small, but enthusiastic, local crowd defeating the Clams 64-0. Playing in drizzling conditions, the Muddies were “undermanned” but were greatly assisted by the return of Chris Sando from Astronaut School who once again contributed strongly and made great inroads into the Clams defence. During the first half, the Muddies were inspirational with the forwards leading the way whilst the backs ran riot over a less than mobile opposition. In the forwards, James Farmer was again outstanding both in attack and defence with strong insightful charges from the ruck ably supported by Dan “Beast” Dorante. Jackson Page, enjoying his new position as breakaway continues to excel and was rewarded with a try and successfully kicked his own conversion while Harry Weir shone with support in both attack and defence. Backs, Pat Laver and landscaper Nathan Colver were outstanding as they continually made solid ground while out wide, Sonny Marks showed too much pace for the opposition and was rewarded with two long distance tries.
