MYALL Little Athletics members have finished their season on a high note, exceeding all expectations over the summer months and having fun at the same time.

The group recently held its end of season Presentation Day, celebrating their achievements at the Tea Gardens Country Club.

It was a chance to reflect on a season which saw a number of the athletes make it through to the recent State Championships in Sydney.

Among the award recipients were Tyler Rogers and Lilly White who received the Highest Achiever awards.

Tyler Rogers was also named as the Highest Point Score.

President’s Encouragement Award went to Aaliyah Paulson-Ruprecht who receives free registration next season.

Sam Alchin took home a trophy for Perfect Attendance.

There were prizes and certificates too for the Zone, Zone Multi, Regional, State Multi and State Awards.

Secretary Melisa Brown told News Of The Area, “Thanks to all our committee, parent volunteers and major sponsors Myall Pharmacy and Tea Gardens Country Club and minor sponsors Brighter Beginnings.

“Thanks too to all the businesses and groups who donated, Auroras Chinese, Kelly’s Famous Bakehouse, Lioness (Myall Coast Entertainers) and the Anglican Church.”

Myall Little Athletics will be back in September.

Secretary Melisa Brown said, “We really need a line marker come groundsman if anyone would like to volunteer their time and a Tiny Tots Co-ordinator.”
