WITH Mother’s Day happening this week, News Of The Area hit the pavements for this week’s ‘Word on the street’.
We were looking for special answers to the question: What do you love best about your Mum?
It is our pleasure to share with you the heartwarming and sweet answers we were given, and we hope they are a nice surprise to the mothers of the children we interviewed around town this week.

Ava: Because she cares about us and is nice and I reaaaallly like her.
And when I was four, I said she had soft skin.
Maddie: Because she makes me pancakes and toast.
Monique and Clare Saunders with a message for their Mum, Carol:
Mum, you are such a kind hearted woman and one in a million.
You make us proud to be your daughter every single day!

Kayne Conroy with a message for his Mum, Lisa:
I love my Mum’s cuddles, because they make me feel better when I’m sad or unhappy.
I’m happy because I know she loves me as much as I love her.
