Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner following the death of a man who went missing in Port Macquarie on Friday.

About 11am (Friday 5 September 2014), the 37-year-old man was last seen at his parent’s home in Port Macquarie.

He was reported missing to police and officers attached to Mid North Coast Local Area Command conducted extensive inquiries.

Yesterday (Sunday 7 September 2014), the man was located deceased at Nobby’s Beach headland.

A crime scene was established; however the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
