THE school holidays are here and MidCoast Council Libraries has a jam packed school holiday program to keep the kids engaged and entertained.

Throughout the July holidays all MidCoast Libraries are hosting a range of different events to suit all ages.

From movie screenings to drama workshops, bingo, painting, storytelling and more break up the holidays with fun visits to your local library.

Activities are free of charge but bookings are essential.

“Our Libraries team really looks forward to the school holidays when we can welcome the kids in to our branches for some fun,” said MidCoast Council’s Manager of Libraries and Community Services, Chris Jones.

“There’s always lots of laughter, participants get to meet new people from their area and it’s a warm, welcoming environment on those cold winter days, a win, win for the holidays.”
