BOORAL – Booral Road: Council is undertaking work to improve the road surface. The work includes drainage improvements.

There will also be minor road widening as part of this project.

Works have commenced and will be completed by the end of June.

GIRVAN – Booral Road: Council is undertaking work to improve the road surface. The work includes road widening and minor drainage improvements.

HAWKS NEST – Yamba Street: Council is undertaking work to improve drainage.  Works will include constructing a section of piped stormwater to extend the existing line.

Work is scheduled to commence in late June.

KARUAH – Alice St: Council is undertaking work to pipe an open drain that runs parallel to Alice Street in Karuah.

Works have commenced.

STROUD ROAD – Bucketts Way (at Stroud Hill Rd): Council is upgrading the road to improve its condition and safety.

Road has been sealed with safety fence and line marking still to be completed.  Asphalt resurfacing work will occur at the intersection with Stroud Hill Road by the end of June.

NORTH ARM COVE – Cove Boulevard: Council is undertaking work to improve drainage in Cove Boulevarde.  Works include piping the open drain that runs from Cove Boulevarde to the foreshore and extending the drainage system along the road side.

Work is in progress and is nearing completion.

PINDIMAR – Clarke St: Council is undertaking work to improve drainage.  A new culvert is to be installed across Clarke Street adjacent to the Cambage Street intersection. This will allow for stormwater to be transferred to the opposite side of the road where it can drain into the existing piped drainage system.

Works is scheduled to commence in late June.
