Medowie Little Athletics Club has been at their present site at Kindlebark Oval for approximately 15 years. Up until now, the club has had to make do with little more than a bench, sink, pie warmer and hot water urn. This new kitchen will mean they can finally prepare more items for sale for their 200 or more registered athletes, spectators, family and friends. Bunnings Port Stephens donated all the labour to put the kitchen together and install it, as well as donating necessary material and findings required for the job. Medowie Little Athletics Club President, Jason Walls told News Of The Area, “This kitchen installation is a great improvement for this community facility.” “It will really help improve a facility that benefits the whole community, not just little athletics.” By Rachael VAUGHAN
