The main speakers were Bob Parish, President of the Medowie RSL Sub branch, and Brian Boughton, Vice-president of the Maitland RSL sub branch. Both speeches were moving and full of emotion and reflection. Medowie Public School and Medowie Christian School can be commended on the wonderful conduct of their student representatives. It was a special morning that certainly showed how lucky we are to be a part of a community like Medowie. News Of The Area would like to take this opportunity to thank our returned servicemen for their sacrifices and service. By Rachael VAUGHAN Wreaths laid at the cenotaph.
