The Club, which meets every month in a member’s garden, celebrated its 10th Anniversary last year and has some 50 members currently.

Chris Voigt from Medowie Garden Club told News Of The Area, “A wide range of locally grown plants will be for sale at a reasonable price and there will be members there with many years gardening experience to answer any gardening questions also.”

There will be a BBQ featuring bacon and egg rolls and sausage sizzle, as well as tea and coffee available for sale.

Money from the sale will go towards three local charities, including the Foodways service which is run by the Assembly of God. Foodways provides ongoing support to 1300 local families and prepare and provide 300 to 400 meals per week along with long life and fresh food.

Last year’s sale saw over $2,500 raised to go towards the drought stricken farmers out west.
