Medowie branch, Country Women’s Association focus on fundraising efforts Medowie, Ferodale, Campvale by NOTA - June 2, 2016 The Medowie branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) meets each second Wednesday of the month. This is for the monthly meeting, they also meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month for what is known as the ‘Craft and Friendship’ meet. Some of the ladies from the Medowie branch of the Country Women’s Association Treasurer of the local branch, Merran Manning said, “Our branch has ongoing projects with toys and items for Ronald McDonald House and baby nighties and rugs for the Neo Natal Clinic at John Hunter Hospital.” “Funds for these projects come from the generosity of the Medowie Community at our stalls outside Coles Supermarket,” Ms Manning said. The Medowie branch is part of CWA Hunter River Group and also support the local Tocal College with a student grant and assist.
