There is a category for everyone, covering photography, art and all handicrafts.

This year’s Medowie Lions Art & Craft show is on 6 and 7 October 2017 at the Medowie Community Hall.
The show will be open on Friday 10am to 5pm, and saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Medowie Lions Club member, Helen Riemann, told News Of The Area, “We are hoping for a wonderfully successful weekend at the show.”

“Every year we strive [to make] the show bigger and better.”

The show is not a competition as such, but rather a showing, as all works must be for sale.

Having said that, the Medowie Bull n Bush has provided a $200 ‘people’s choice’ award to be presented.

This year’s show will also feature an exciting new exhibit.

A collection of hand created steampunk costumes and scale model working steam engines will be on show.

John Hannan from Medowie, husband to Medowie Lions member Margaret, has skillfully created these intricate engines to showcase them at the Art and Craft weekend.

A selection of delicious homemade treats, including sandwiches, scones and jam, will be available along with tea and coffee at the show.

For more information, please contact Helen Rieman 0429 840 238 or Adrienne Bayly 0417 671 948.
