A massage therapist has been charged over alleged indecent assaults against two women in Taree earlier this year.

Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command received reports from two women who allege they were indecently assaulted by a 59-year-old man while being massaged at a business in Taree.

The alleged incidents occurred between 18 March 2015 and 16 May 2015.

After ongoing investigations, police arrested a 59-year-old man in Manning Street, Taree, yesterday (Tuesday 2 June 2015).

The man was taken to Taree Police Station and charged with three counts of indecent assault and granted strict conditional bail to appear before Taree Local Court on Tuesday 23 June 2015.

Investigations into the matters are ongoing.
