Senior Constable Dave Coyle said, “Tea Gardens police will support any such proposal put before Mid Coast Council.” The Myall River Action Group believes another ‘give way’ sign is needed on the junction of Charles Street and Marine Drive. Concerns have also been raised about the new compressed areas near the entrance to the library and on the corners of Maxwell and Charles Streets. The Marine Drive issues will be raised with MidCoast Council at its meeting next month with the Southern Area Reference Group. By Margie TIERNEY MARINE DRIVE SPEED LIMIT: Kylie French.
If Drivers really do “fly through” then lowering it to 40 will do nothing to stop them because they are obviously ignoring the 50 limit. Non issue when there are so many other issues out there. We are just up the road and I rarely see cars speeding. Reply
