A third man charged with Jacob Munro murder at Bulahdelah Bulahdelah, Wootton, Nerong FEATURED by NOTA - March 3, 2015March 3, 2015 Homicide Squad detectives have yesterday arrested and charged a third man in relation to the murder of Jacob Munro whose body was found in a bush grave near Bulahdelah last year. Mr Munro, 24, was reported missing from Schofields after he was last spoken to by associates on Monday the 21st July 2014. His disappearance was deemed to be suspicious and the Homicide Squad established Strike Force Zion, together with North West Region detectives, to investigate the matter. In December 2014, acting on information, police searched bushland in the Bulahdelah State Forest, locating Mr Munro’s body in a bush grave. He had suffered significant injuries. Last week, detectives arrested a 68-year-old Yetman man and a 21-year-old Lake Munmorah man, and they remain before the courts on charges relating to Mr Munro’s murder. About 9.30am Monday 2 March 2015, strike force detectives arrested a 25-year-old man at an address in Young. A search warrant was executed at the property. The man was taken to Young Police Station, charged with murder, and refused bail to appear at Cootamundra Local Court later today. Investigations are continuing and Strike Force Zion detectives anticipate making further arrests. On Wednesday 25 February 2015, Strike Force Zion detectives executed a search warrant at Yetman, in northern NSW, and arrested a 68-year-old man. He was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and refused bail to Inverell Local Court, where he was again refused bail, to appear in Penrith Local Court on 6 March 2015. Jacob Munro About 7.15am today (Friday 27 February 2015), strike force detectives arrested a 21-year-old Lake Munmorah man at his residence. The man’s home had previously been searched by police.
