THE Star Hotel sponsored Single Stableford saw four players finish at the top of the board equal on net 36.

On a count back (most points on the last three holes) Jo Montague won from Allan Clarke, Brad Southan and Rod Curtis.

Jo, whose handicap is down to 14, and with her consistency, is very close to A grade (under 13 handicap).

Nearest the pins were Brad Fortescue (A) John Dowzard (B) and Roy Rudner (C grade).

Roy whinged that it was his only good shot on the day, but it won him a ball, something more than half the field didn’t get.

Cheryl Fortescue won the ladies competition for the second time in three weeks with Jo Montague runner up.

Dave Poole came in to win the 111th Mid Week Competition with Neil Cuneen runner up.
