Gary Clarke’s team doing a great job concreting the cart path from the 1st tee.

THE monthly medal, sponsored by Steve Riddell’s Callisto Computing was taken out by Tony Henshaw.

While he’s a regular, Tony has been missing off the leaderboard for a while, but cream comes to the top when it counts.

The spoon went to Mick Manning who started off a bit rough but played the last seven holes in one over par (according to playing partner Rod Curtis).

Rod himself says he had a very tough time on the fourth, with the water hazard getting in his way and the six iron he used was meant to be a nine iron.

Allan Clarke was the only player who could hit the green on the nearest the pin 4/13th.

The extra nearest the pins went to A’s Mick Manning, B’s Mick O’Brien and C’s Jordan Welsh.

Grade winners were Allan Clarke, Steve Hosking and Tony Henshaw.

The ladies competition on Wednesday was won again by Carmel Fruedenstein with Desma Hughes runner up.

Desma backed up with a win in the mid week competition.

John Poole left the rest behind with 25 points to win the chook run but loses 6 shots off his handicap (any points over 20 + 1 for winning).

Rob Marshall was runner up.

The Bede Clarke memorial day is on 20/11/21.

This is a 3 person Ambrose open to anyone.
