THE past month has seen some action on the greens starting with a Tradies night on Friday 29 October with teams from local businesses Foodworks, Mitre 10, Express Coaches and Lav’s Turf Solutions.

The night was well received by all that played Pizza and bowls and many prizes throughout the night, we will be running another Tradies night early in the new year contact the club for details if your business would like to come along.

The Final of the Men’s Triples was played on a windy Saturday 6 November between G. McMahon, M. McMahon and A. Shearer(Skip) against J. McAuliffe, P. Fox and M. Coleman (Skip).

It was a hard fought game with Andrew Shearer’s side handling the conditions well to prevail 25 – 14.

Well done.

Most of the first round of the Mixed Triples were played on Sunday 14th Nov, K. Wood and B. Howard 15 J. Walker and P. Carlow 21 – L. Carlow and G. McMahon 13 J. McAuliffe and G. Griffiths 22 – B. McBride and P. Brennan 15 – K. Liddell and M. Coleman 27.

Second round matches Sunday on 1 November.
