Performing at the event is Kailey Pallas, a full time singer who regularly entertains crowds across the North Coast.

“I’m super excited to perform at the Coffs Carols this year, it’s a great event to bring families together and spend time with your loved ones while listening to some of your favourite Christmas carols sung by amazing local talents,” Kailey said.

“My favourite part of the Carols is seeing all the children’s faces as Santa arrives, watching the amazing fireworks and hearing people sing together.

“It’s going to be such an amazing show and one you and your family won’t want to miss,” said Kailey.

Dylan and Jaida Wigley, just 11 and 10 years of age respectively, have been performing at Kailey’s open mic nights for a couple of months and will be performing at Coffs Coast Carols this year.

Kailey’s ability to mentor them has brought them from the garage to the small stage.

Now they will take to the big stage for the first time ever.

“It’s been a tough couple of years for everyone so this is going to be special, we are looking forward to everyone of all ages ending the year on a high note.

“Musicians have really done it tough for nearly two years now with hundreds of cancelled shows, musicians love to perform so you’ll see a lot of energy on 11 December, that’s for sure,” added Kailey.

John Logan Entertainment, the talent agent for the event has paid tribute to this year’s band The Drive Ins who will be providing the backing for most performers.

The lead singer of The Drive Ins, Rick Hofma from Boambee, has been entertaining crowds for over 40 years.

“We are delighted at the opportunity to be part of the Carols through our lively rhythms, powerhouse vocals and of course 50s harmonies.

“We are counting the days!

“So come down, bring your picnic blanket, dress up in your best Christmas outfit, ready to sing along to your favourite Christmas Carols,” enthused Rick.
