Local swimmer, Lily Fidden, has won the 9 year old 50 metre Girls Freestyle Race at the Port Stephens Zone Swim meet held on 19 February.
With a very competitive time of 51.53 seconds, Lily is in strong form for her next race in the Hunter Regional Primary Championship being held on 3 March at Lambton Pool.
Lily was also the Junior Age Champion at the Tea Gardens Public School swimming carnival held back on 5 February
The Tea Gardens Principal, Mr Mark Clemson, informed NOTA that, “We are very proud of her achievements and wish her the best.”
