Seaham implemented PBL in 2016 to create a whole school process for managing student behaviours at school and to help the supporting teachers to consistently deal with these behaviours.

Community PBL has added another dimension and is really assisting Seaham to connect with the wider community.

The students particularly look forward to the announcement of the community PBL winner each week.

Ava Moshage from Hunter River High School, awarded for volunteering her time to set up and help out at the Father’s Day breakfast.

Cooper Horton from Grahamstown Public School, for showing integrity and displaying honesty.

Ashley Kay from Karuah Public School, for demonstrating exemplary manners during a visit from the Beecroft Primary School Band at Karuah Public School.

Ashley was a great audience member, by displaying appreciation of their music.

Latayviah Quinn from Raymond Terrace Public School, for displaying respectful behaviour and sportsmanship in the community, at recent touch football gala days.

Alex Drew from Seaham Public School, awarded for assisting an elderly lady who had fallen from a ladder.

Alex acted responsibly by alerting a family member, who was able to call an ambulance.

Lucas Watts from Irrawang High School, for coming to the assistance of a very appreciated elderly member of the community, with a random act of kindness.

Scott Ingram from Medowie Public School, for eagerly assisting a member of the public at ALDI in Raymond Terrace with outstanding manners and enthusiasm.

William Swan from Irrawang Public School, for his outstanding, respectful behaviour towards his peers, teachers, camp staff and the local environment whilst at the Great Aussie Bush Camp.

Zoe Carter-Bennett from Salt Ash Public School, for always using delightful manners every time she visits the office.

Zoe is also very helpful towards other students.
