They showed their community spirit by supporting the Medowie Lions Club with a generous donation and supplies to run the BBQ for everyone. The first block of land had its deposit placed on by Mark Oliver, who was lined up first – enlisting the help of his brother inlaw for some of the time. The original eleven families, who spent several nights camped outside, have forged a close bond and are looking forward to building on their dream blocks – and knowing that at least the neighbourhood is good!
